DRBF Introduces Updated Logo
DRBF Kicks off 30th Anniversary Year and Introduces New Logo
In 2026, the DRBF launches a year-long celebration of its 30th anniversary, marking three decades as the leading organization dedicated exclusively to Dispute Boards. The milestone year will feature special initiatives and activities that reflect the Foundation’s history, growth, and future direction.
The DRBF was founded in 1996 by 54 construction industry professionals committed to expanding the use of Dispute Boards to improve project outcomes. Since that time, the organization has grown to more than 1,500 members worldwide and continues to strengthen its role in advancing dispute avoidance and resolution across the construction industry.
The DRBF’s visual identity has evolved along with the organization. In 2002, the DRBF introduced its first official logo following a design competition held by the Board of Directors. The winning design, created by the
son of a DRBF member, was unveiled at the Annual Meeting and appeared on printed materials for many years.
In 2025, the DRBF decided to develop a new logo and tagline to better reflect the DRBF’s modern communications needs, including digital platforms, social media, and promotional materials. A design agency with deep experience serving associations and nonprofits was engaged to preserve familiar elements while refreshing the look for today’s environment.
The new DRBF logo retains the traditional dark blue and deep red color palette, along with arrow imagery familiar to long-time members. The arrow reinforces the Foundation’s message of progress, reflected in the previous tagline, “Moving projects forward since 1996.” An expanded color palette allows for greater flexibility across digital and print applications, while the updated tagline highlights both dispute avoidance and resolution and the DRBF’s global impact.
Throughout 2026, members and stakeholders will see the updated branding reflected across DRBF communications. A special 30th Anniversary logo will also be used during the year to commemorate this milestone.
The DRBF is grateful to its dedicated leadership and members whose ongoing support has shaped the organization over the past 30 years. The DRBF looks forward to celebrating this anniversary throughout 2026 and continuing to move projects forward in the years ahead.
